Session on “Understanding Goa's Biodiversity"

On 23rd April 2025, Harshada Gauns from Arannya Environment Research Organisation (AERO) led an engaging offline session titled “Understanding Goa's Biodiversity” at the WWF-India Goa Office. This event, held as a prelude to the City Nature Challenge Goa 2025, offered participants valuable insights into the diverse ecosystems of Goa, including its forests, coasts, and unique habitats. The session highlighted the importance of community participation in documenting and conserving local wildlife, inspiring attendees to actively contribute to biodiversity protection efforts in the region.
