The Goa Bird Atlas has become a shining example for Goa. It shows what the collective will of a state can do for its bird diversity. On the platform of the 9th Bird Festival of Goa, a State Function of the Government of Goa, the outcome of Goa's largest structured citizen science initiative till date, was dedicated to the state and its people by the Honbl. Special thanks and mention to Shri. Saurabh Kumar IFS, who planted the seeds of the Goa Bird Atlas during his term in Goa Forest Department.

The project completion is an outcome of efforts from 75 steadfast volunteers, 12 taluka coordinators -
