Samrudhi Phadte, Research Officer at Arannya Environment Research Organisation (AERO), conducted an engaging session for students of Azmane High School on Biodiversity, School Habitat, and the Surroundings, highlighting the importance of understanding and conserving local ecosystems.

The session encouraged students to observe their immediate surroundings, identify the diversity of life around their school, and develop an appreciation for the ecological importance of natural habitats. It also emphasised the role that school environments can play in supporting biodiversity and providing opportunities for experiential environmental learning.

Through this interactive learning experience, students were encouraged to recognise the value of local biodiversity and understand the importance of protecting habitats for the well-being of plants, animals, and other living organisms.

The initiative reflects AERO’s continued commitment to environmental education and biodiversity awareness, empowering students to become responsible stewards of nature and contribute to conservation efforts within their schools and communities.
