Youth as Sustainability Leaders

A Three Day Trainer Capacity Workshop for Youths of Goa from 12 to 14 March 2022 iwas organised by Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan - NYKS India - Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Centre for Environment Education and Arannya Environment Research Organisation.

The Centre for Environment Education and Arannya Environment Research Organisation's trainer workshop to build capacity of youth leaders for sustainability hosted some great sessions where young minds interacted with our resource persons - Paresh Porob , Roshan Mathias and Santosh Gaonkar on various important issues and topics on sustainability and associated challenges to implement them.

Our organising team and co-facilitators : Sujeetkumar Dongre, Suvarna Dongre, Jalmesh Karapurkar, Saish Pirankar, Harshada Gauns and Pronoy Baidya worked hard to put this workshop together. Gracious funding and support from Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development - Rgniyd - Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India ensured larger success of the workshop. We are now waiting for the work-progress card from our sustainability leaders the coming weekend when we meet to chart out the roadmap for the future!
