This years theme for the *World Environment day is Ecological restoration,* which is the practice of renewing and restoring degraded, damaged, or destroyed ecosystems and habitats in the environment by active human intervention and action.
On this day we want our members and everyone reading this msg to pay attention to activities that you do for next 24 hours (reading,cooking, cleaning, helping, it can be anything and everything) and come up with list of things of your action which you feel will contribute to ecological restoration in longer run and a list of things which will contribute in degradation.

Result
On the occasion of World Environment day, Arannya Environment Research Organization held a competition wherein participants had to observe their routine for 24 hours and come up with list of actions which degrade/contribute to ecological restoration.
And the winner of this competition is *MR. GAURAV NAIK* from Goa University.
We would also like to make special mention of *Ms. Sona Gaonkar, Ms. Siddhi Gawas and Ms. Shivani Naik* for their efforts.
Also thanks to all other who came forward and participated in the same. We look forward to all of you to show similar support in our upcoming events.
