AERO Introduces Students to Wildlife Research at Government College, Sanquelim

Research Officers Shishir Gawas and Shradha Pethker from Arannya Environment Research Organisation (AERO) conducted an activity-based presentation for students of the Zoology discipline at Government College of Arts, Science & Commerce, Sanquelim.

The session introduced students to the field of wildlife research, highlighting the importance of scientific methods, field observations and curiosity in understanding wildlife and its habitats. Through interactive activities and practical insights, students gained an understanding of how wildlife research contributes to biodiversity documentation and conservation.

The initiative reflects AERO’s commitment to strengthening environmental education and connecting students with practical approaches to wildlife research, fostering scientific thinking and a deeper appreciation of the natural world.
