The first Goa Bird Atlas Training Program saw 92 participants from just THREE out of the 12 talukas of Goa! This shows the excitement and willingness of people from the state to do their bit for Goa's environment through birds. We are now looking forward to engaging participants from other 3 clusters covering the remaining 9 talukas soon. We want to thank @wetlandsint_sa who have through @moefccgoi - @gef_global_environment environment enabled the training workshops of Goa Bird Atlas that has been jointly initiated by @cee_india (Goa office) @goaforest @goauniversityofficial and @birdcountindia We are thankful to @being_dmcian @dmc_envirosci and principal Prof. @diliparolkar who as MoU partner of AERO supported our training program logistically.
We also extend our gratitude to @wipro.earthian and @tamal1970 for their support to the Goa Bird Atlas initiative.
